Culinary Institute of America graduate Michael Shanker has been a professional Chef for over 30 years.  He is worked for some of Manhattan's and Westchester’s top restaurants and caterers and has catered for several celebrities.

Michael owns the Flavor Vault, a local catering company specializing in Contemporary American Gourmet Cuisine.  Since 2012, he has been involved in food relief efforts during natural disasters 

"I’m a local chef in Tarrytown, New York and long time humanitarian. 


I have worked relief efforts cooking thousands of meals daily after Hurricane Sandy and the tornadoes in Moore, Oklahoma. 


My goal is to provide nutritious meals to community members in need during this trying time, particularly those who are home bound or under-served and those essential workers on the front line.
